What is configured

Google Analytics: which pages people read.
Google Ads: whether a Google Analytics signup or purchase followed an advert.
Meta: whether an advert led to a signup.

Google Analytics counts visits and actions on this site. If you accept measurement, it also shares data with our linked Google Ads account so we can tell whether a Google advert led to a signup or paid plan. Meta measures results from its adverts too. We do not use this choice to personalise Google ads. Clicking a link is not counted as a paid plan.

Your choice

Choose Allow measurement or No thanks in the banner. Refusing or leaving it unanswered keeps these services off. We save your answer in this site’s browser storage. If we add a service or change what we use the data for, we ask again. An earlier yes to analytics does not count as permission to share data for Google Ads measurement.

What a service may store

After you agree, Google Analytics may set cookies whose names begin _ga. Google may also use advertising cookies or identifiers to connect an advert click with a signup or payment. This can happen through Google Analytics without a separate Google Ads tag. Meta may set its own cookies or browser identifiers. These services can see technical details about your browser and the page. We send Google Analytics the page path, keeping only a short allow-listed set of marketing tags such as utm_source from the query string and leaving the rest out, and we tell it a similarly cleaned-up version of the page you arrived from. Meta works differently: it runs only on our own published marketing pages, with restricted page addresses and referring links. If the address carries an unsupported query parameter or fragment, Meta does not load for that visit. Our own action events contain no name, email address or destination you type into the QR demo. Each service’s own script may collect more browser context. We keep those scripts off the application’s signed-in pages.

Changing your choice stops new measurement requests after the page reloads. Your browser may retain cookies that a supplier already set; you can remove those in your browser settings. You can also ask us what is currently configured at hello@qrthatlasts.com.

Someone scanning one of your printed codes is sent through elysiu.me. That redirect does not load these measurement tags.
